Presider: We approach our God of mighty deeds. With confidence in God’s Loving Kindness, we dare to call on God’s wisdom to hear our prayers...

Deacon/ Lector/ Cantor: Please respond: “Lord, Hear our prayer”

1. May the Advocate inspire and enlighten Pope Leo XIV in his interventions in wars among nations, we pray...

2. Lord, send out your Spirit to bring together all bishops to work for an end to culture disputes that threaten the unity of the faithful, we pray...

3. Holy Spirit, enlighten the minds and hearts of diplomats, executive leaders, legislatures and member of the judicial system so that service to the citizens of their country may be benefit the common good, we pray...

4. That the faithful will provide a helping hand up to the poor and those on the margins so their needs for food, shelter, clothing, health care, and education will bring about a change in their circumstances, we pray...

5. That children and vulnerable adults find safety and shelter from abusers and traffickers in our faith community, we pray...

6. That first responders, professional security personnel, Doctors and nurses, and military personnel find safety and peace in their service to all people in their area of responsible, we pray...

7. That attorneys commit to discovering the truth and pursuit of justice, we pray...

8. That those who died this week (list here) and those approaching death’s door are encouraged by faith and sacrament. That the intention of this Mass, (list here) _____is (are) remembered in our prayers, we pray...

9. Let us petition God for our personal needs and concerns of hand, mind, and heart: (pause) Let us place these intentions on the altar with the financial gifts we offer for the ministries of our community, we pray...

Presider: Grant, we pray..., Lord that encouraged by this Eucharistic feast we may retain a focus on the good of our community. That we may always discover you in nature and in our relationships within our faith community. That we may thus gain with your help the great wonder of the prize of salvation. We ask this through Christ, our Lord.
